Sarah Williamson
The Eustis Gun Club Firearms Training Program is led by Sarah Williamson, an experienced firearms instructor, competitive shooter, and dedicated firearms educator.
Sarah has been an Eustis Gun Club member for three years and has served as an EGC Range Safety Officer for more than a year and a valued member for 3 years. She is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Certified Range Safety Officer, and certified instructor for the NRA's Refuse To Be A Victim® program. She is also the founder and Lead Instructor of the U.S. Women’s Shooting Academy.
Her experience extends well beyond the classroom. Sarah is a firearms collector, hunter, and active competitive shooter who continues to train and compete in disciplines including PRS, USPSA, IDPA, SCSA, speed pistol, precision rifle, rimfire, and bullseye shooting.
Sarah believes that good firearms training is built on preparation, knowledge, safety, and confidence. Her approach is centered on helping students develop sound fundamentals and responsible habits that they can carry with them beyond the classroom and onto the range.
As Head of the EGC Firearms Training Program, Sarah brings her experience as an instructor, competitor, and lifelong student of the shooting sports to help build a training program that serves both those new to firearms and experienced shooters looking to continue developing their skills.
